1 He did have a bad showing in the playoffs last season, but the prior year they were completely overmatched by Anaheim (Stanley Cup Champions). He still ended up with 3 goals and 4 points in 5 games. The only other year the Wild made the playoffs was the run in 2003, when he scored 9 goals and 17 points in 18 games. My thoughts on Gaborik is that, yes he has been injured often, but when he has played, he has been the greatest difference maker on the ice. The problem with that, is that the Wild have not had any other goal scorers that the opponents have had to worry about. Take away Gaborik, you take away the Wild's only big scoring threat. That makes it way too easy in the playoffs to shut them down. |

Really??? You think he might leave? Gee I would have never guessed that.

A wuss. Would not have made Freddie Shero's cut.

yep gaborik will get the last laugh when either calgary, vancouver, the ducks, sharks or other gets knocked out of ther playoffs and look for answwers. if you think gaborik has no value you are greatly mistaken. |
looks like all those phsical teams are doing real well , calgary , sanjose, and soon to be ducks, canucks, gabby will be signed and no he doesnt have to crawl back here begging for a job for less moeny cause he gets hurt, if they are willing to pay sundin a 40 year old who is doing nothing they will pay gabby a 40-50 goal scorer . |

Fine let them take him, and then they get to deal with the disappointment that is Prima Donna Mary-Ann . |
i think gabby will fit in nicely next to ovechkin , crosby , wheeler, sharp, etc. dont worry about marryann he will definately have suiters all the teams that wont win the cup this year looking for improvements next year to get the cup. gabby scoed more points than sundin and made half salary .
He is going to have suiters, but there are a couple of teams (Detroit, Pittsburgh, and a few others) that aren't going to have a chance. They are already going to be close to the salary cap for next season. And if the cap drops, as it is expected, there will be even fewer teams that will be able to offer him the contract that he desires. |

The ducks have alot of free agents this year if i recall they will have plenty of cash if so.

1 I will absolutely giggle my arse off if he's forced to accept a contract for less than what we originally offered him. |

I hope Dallas signs him !!
