Will he be more likely to come back with a different coaching style and a different coach?

Next time someone complains about the lack of newspaper sales please remember this out-right failure of a report. Maybe we should start a contest to see how many simple mistakes appear in each article. More importantly, I wonder if the person signing this "writers" paycheck has a clue how incompetent their "employees" are? By the way, the final score was "6" - 3, and how do you rally "for a two-goal deficit", we usually rally "from" a two-goal deficit So much for journalistc integrity. Should anyone believe anything of real importance in this paper when they can't even get the simple stuff right.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that Gaborik, after kicking back virtually the entire season and "rehabing from a lower body injury" would put on a big contract push near the end of the season. This clown is a total waste of talent. He has only one priority, get the most money he can from whomever is dumb enough to give it to him. Once that's accomplished, he will only play when he feels like it and then only work the offensive end of the ice. Doubt he's ever backchecked with enthusiasm in his life! No wonder Lemaire quit, he's glad to be rid of this team of Gaborik like egomaniacs!

Don't forget he also wants to he hired by one of the big hitters, like Detroit, in addition to the big money. As someone said on a different post, Gaborik has kicked it in gear lately for his resume, not for the Wild. |

While it is true that Gaborik likely ended up making more money for himself by how he played at the end of the season, he still is going to end up making less than if he signed the contract offer from the Wild this preseason. It doesn't make sense that he would just kick back all season when if he could have played, he could have earned even more money and especially more guaranteed money. The truth is, the Wild were a better team with Gabby in the lineup than without him. They won more than 56% of the games when he played, and only around 41% when he was out. He also had a positive +/- ratio in every season since his rookie season. It is just too bad that he can't stay healthy enough to play a full year. |

He likely will try to sign with somebody in the East, but it won't be Detroit. They don't have enough salary cap room most likely to resign both Hossa and Franzen unless they both take a major paycut from what they could get on the open market. |
