"We had seven forwards and four defensemen who could do it."

Is he talking to Scott Howson with this statement? Me thinks yes.

Sounds like coach is a great guy. hopefully we can get a good player or two and get rid of a few as well to help him out.

The PP has been a problem since day 1. let's get that fixed and put garon in net. You do not need howson to help you on that.

Arniel is the BEST thing to happen to this team in a long time!! Love his honesty, energy and style! Hang in there Scott and get this team to take us to the playoffs!

The fall this year was rather atypical for Columbus...regardless, I agree that it's a great place to live.

He should be a politician and become a diplomat. He's a class act.

I wish him well, and time to turn it around.

lharp2 how can you say this about Arniel? He is playing the cards he was given. I think his energy can transform the team.

"I still do like the roster, yes. We've shown signs that when we play at our best and play the way we need to play, we can be as good as any team in the Western Conference."

Either he is a liar or he doesn't understand he's coaching in the NHL.
The only way this team is as good as any othe rteam in the West is if the goaltender is standing on his head. If they play an average game we lose 3-2 on most night.
Not any help offensively from the blue line (Russell has regressed badly) and not enough skill from the forwards. If he's truly happy with the roster then he won't be here long.
