Talk about hits to the head. While general managers addressed the NHL's topic du jour during meetings Monday in Florida, up north in British Columbia the league-leading Vancouver Canucks delivered what might be a knockout blow to the Wild's playoff ambitions Monday night at Rogers Arena.

yet another lost season. This franchise is starting to , dare I say it, mirror their basketball counterparts from accross the river.

My son ran into Fletcher at the airport last Sunday and struck up a brief conversation with him. Fletcher was amicable and open, so my son walked over to where I was and asked me if I had any interest in speaking to the man? I told hom that it probably wouldn't be a good idea; he may not be smiling after I walked away. If I had though, I would've asked about his two questionable 1st round picks thus far; Leddy (Homer pick!), Granlund (another homer pick for the Finns?). This team is in dire need of large power forwards, whom possess skills. This team is entirely to small and gets dominated at times physically. These last few [critical?] games they came out flat and gave up loads of shots that could be labeled quality scoring chances. Shoddy defense and non-existent back checking also didn't help out our goaltenders. Sure, Backs gave up a softy in Vancouver, but he (and Jose) have bailed this team out more often than not.

Fletch, bring in some snipers and power forwards, we have enough shrimps. Not sure about Richard's game prep, seems sporadic at best...

Stick a fork in them, they're done. Should have made a trade.

Love the wild and I hate to agree with the negatives around here but they are done. to play for playoff lives and play like sh!t for 7+ periods doesn't cut it. This time of year you have to have LOTZ of players step it up not 2 or 3.

hey guys, come on.
the West is terribly tight right now, and we got stuck with some key injuries at really bad times.
There's always next year, and hopefully we can acquire some good players in the offseason, and get back on our feet next year. There is no way that we'll not make it next year, we got good players, they're developing chemistry. Soon. I just know it, soon.
