Jiri Fischer to make his on-ice return in Saginaw

An automatic external defibrillator helped save Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jiri Fischer's life when he collapsed during a game nearly three years ago.

I had a cardiac arrest last summer running, I am also 28 years old and was saved by a cardialogist driving by. My heart and breathing had stopped completely. Jiri, I'm praying for you!

I've been anxiously waiting for his return to the ice. I wish I could be there to welcome his return with open arms. I wish him all the best!

I hope to God Jiri is back and recovered, he would be a great player to have back next season when I believe Chris Chelios will probably retire. Don't get me wrong, I have always been a Chris Chelios fan, just I think it's his time to hang em up.
