I'll throw a comment in here DLR even though there might be an echo...
I've watched most of the games during this losing streak, and the article is pretty accurate: the team effort has been there. Seems to me the downward spiral started when after Borque got hurt. The goaltending hasn't been very good either and that's hurt. Nikolia gave up a couple easy goads against Calgary the other night (did you see Owen Nolan's goal?). Savvy's right; they just have to keep up the intensity and not panic. They'll be all right. All teams need to work through tough stretches like this, let alone a young team. If they can keep up, they'll be fine.

Goaltending hasn't been sharp and the kids are being keyed on so they've cooled off...Having three rookies centering three of your four lines doesn't help either but the work ethic's been there just not getting rewarded....Growing pains.
