"Jagr has brilliant talent," he said. "I'm just calling it like I see it."

Mad Mike evaluating "hockey talent" is comparable to Helen Keller reviewing Picasso.

Go get LASIK surgery, Milbury. The Islanders will need a decade to recover from your reign of errors.

I finally have a chance to let Mike know that he was the worst hockey GM during my lifetime. Among his trading blunders: Kasparaitis for Smolinski; McCabe & Bertuzzi for Linden who ended up back w/ the Canucks; Luongo & Jokkinen for Kvasha & Parrish. But THE WORST BY FAR was Yashin for Chara and Spezza. And Mike was a player who understood how important character is. Yashin had none. How did he get to keep his job for so long?

What a shock Rag fan Neil Best is out selling Flukeskirt any way he can.

They would look best outside New York because no one notices them here.

Hey Neil, go run to Barry Watkins for some fabricated Rag television ratings, just like that fabricated Dolan attendance at Msg...

How come if Milbury was so bad he beat out captain cancer Messier, Mellon head Richter and Mr selfish Leetch with half the payroll with Yashin and Kvasha?

Mike Millbury probably traded away more talent away then what was ever on the Islanders but I don't think Garth Snow is exactly the second-coming of Billy Torrey. Trading the farm for Ryan Smyth who said he left his heart in Edmonton yet had no problem leaving the team for the moolah in Colorado. Also Glenn Sather was lucky that some of his leanest years were during the worst, most horrible eras of Knicks management under Layden and Zeke along with the lockout. Lou Lammierello, coming from a Devils fan, has been completely clueless about properly managing the salary cap and letting the defense between Marty and the opposition be just Paul Martin and reformed goon Colin White who can't see properly anymore. Millbury sounds like the average guy with his takes though. No different than the average Rangers fan who calls up WFAN.

Just imagine? Ok.

All three have still won nothing.

Spezza is getting blamed again for another Ottawa collapse, Lunogo makes seven million and could not take another team to a playoff and Chara's helped the Bruins for his seven million to a season behind the Isles and one where they finished eighth.

I'm not saying Milbury was a good gm but you over-rate these players badly.

All they are is overpaid, did you expect them to sign 2m dollar deals here or for the Isles to pay all of them 7m forever?

Spezza and Bates does not exactly scare me.

Now get those Flukeskirts out of New York.

Hey Rag fan Neil Best?

How come you don't pick on Steve Sommers like you do Milbury?

I guess you can only call out the people negative against your favorite team.
