On the cheap seats, did you mean $12 to $10? I sat in the Die Hard Seats (since they were the Dave Taylor Die Hard Seats) and they were orginally $10, then last season were increased to $12, I woudl assume the Die Hards are the one's going back to $10.

If AEG is truly losing money as they say they are, then sell the freakin' team already and get the hell out of L.A. Raising prices after that last season from hell is beyond defensible. No wonder Anschutz is getting bashed every Saturday in the Times' letter section. The more I think about it, a dunk tank seems like a grand idea!

Let's get something straight. You don't own a team to make money, you own a team to win. By winning THEN you make money. This is one of the few things in life where you can throw money at a problem... Let me rephrase that. You have to to throw money at it to compete, to win, then you make money.

Yea tickets are more expensive in Dallas because they can actually put a winning product on the ice on a consistent basis. Increasing any ticket prices are inexcusable, and I highly doubt the team is losing THAT much money with a $40 million payroll

I have had 4 season tickets ever since the Kings moved to Staples. I just called and cancelled all 4 seats!

Shouldn't the headline read:

Kings announce plans to **** their fans!

Do a lousy job, make more money, get promoted. That seems to be the American way these days...at least for the rich. CEO causes his company to TANK, he/she gets a huge bonus for sitting on their duff. Amazing isn't it? GO QUEENS!

hhhhmmmm ... Kings management is brilliant! Prices in Dallas are high cause they make the damn playoffs!!! And hiring an outside advertising agency to better market the team??? Uh HELLO ... again ... PLAYOFFS!!!

Yeah, I'm not spending a single penny on this team next year after reading this. Rich Uncle Phil can't afford to lose a few million? That's like .001 percent of his overall worth, while people like me spend 10-15 percent of our crappy wages just to see this team lose all year. I'm officially out. With the internet and Center Ice, I'll be able to watch some real hockey and not feel like I'm getting screwed. CANCEL YOUR SEASON SEATS PEOPLE! IT'S THE ONLY WAY!

Went to two Kings games as a guest, and sat in luxury seats. Were two of the worst games I have ever witnessed, especially the Dallas game late in season.
Team flat out gave up in 3rd period.
For the first time in35+ years of hockey fan, we left early and went to Tommy's
It'll be like the old days at the Forum. By a nose bleed seat, come on down to the empty seats later
WHat a joke for a bebuilding team to do this

The Kings simply need to "shut it down" and discontinue operations. The organization has a consistent reputation for buffoonery in their hockey mentality and it now appears this also extends to their business smarts.
Why would anyone want to patronize this dog any more?

The information I Iread here could be useful to the King's organization. Payroll dropped from 54 million to 40 million which begets one losing season after another. Surprise, surprise attendance drops as well. I think they may be better served increasing the payrol and buying some talent, providing a winning season that could lead to the playoffs. I'll bet the fans wouldn't mind paying extra for tickets then. Now? Higher ticket prices for a losing team. Tough sell.

How can you guys complain, you can watch an NHL game for $12 dollars. In Canada that's what we pay to go watch a major junior game.

Anyone feel like organizing a food/beverage boycott at (at least) one game next season?

WITH the costs of living (& attending UNR) are ON THE RISE, where on EARTH are your BRAINS? In today's economy, if you RAISE PRICES, you WILL BE THE LOSER! It is hard enough for a family to put their children through school, let alone UNR...and then to have the GALL to RAISE PRICES...WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!
If you don't "watch it" you will be IN THE RED...without students...and without funds to pay the professors...WHERE ARE YOUR BRAINS?
I am a retired teacher, & I DO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT! If a family can't AFFORD something, they will GO WITHOUT! IN TOUGH TIMES, one of the FIRST THINGS to GO, is entertainment.(ie "games,etc)..
GROW UP! FACE the TIMES! AND realize that YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET WHAT YOU WANT.
THERE will probably be a FEW that will be able to pay YOUR HIGHER PRICES, but just to let you know, that you have LOST MY SUPPORT... in many different ways.
ONE SUGGESTION: Every single EMPLOYEE/PROFESSOR AT UNR SHOULD "TAKE A 25% CUT IN PAY!" and that INCLUDES "YOU!"
NOW HOW DOES THAT SOUND?????

I SINCERELY HOPE that everyone at UNR starts to realize that TOUGH TIMES ARE HERE...AND TOSSING THE DICE IS NOT GOING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Face the MUSIC, REALIZE that you are NOT GOING TO GET what you "want"...and most important of all, PLEASE DO NOT "DUMB DOWN" EDUCATION!

Start to "watch the budget", make some "slimming down" , take RESPONSIBILITY, BUT DO NOT "TAKE FROM THOSE WHO SUPPORT YOU"!!!!!

Go Kings Go .... to hell.

The worst team around they trade any player who has any skill and then resign washed up has beens they traded 10 years ago.

I gave up on my season seats & the LA Kings a long time ago, it is more then just losing it is how bad the team is run and the investment they refuse to make.

I can only take so much abuse.

I am done.

Maybe they will win 10 games next year I doubt it though.

Got invited to a King game back around 1980 by an ex player
Asked him what time the game started
His reply.... What time can you get here? Pretty soon, the only sound you'll hear at Staples are echos from pucks hitting the boards.
Bad building, and worse organization
