The Kings are going nowhere fast. I was at a Kings breakfast last year when Lombardi said "I'll never trade Visnovsky, you should only know what offers I get for him every day." Well, I guess this was the BEST offer...a 30 point center and a defenceman with one assist.
Absolutely incredible....if Lubo was not in his plans, why not get a better deal earlier? It's not like the Kings needed Lubo earier to contend for the cup or even to compete for a playoff spot!

The reality is as long as Anshitz is in control, the bottom line is the bottom line. That is the two players cost LESS than Lubo and the benefit that Lubo being around would have had on Johnson and Doughty is left out of the equation.

Anshitz is cheap...and as long as he is in charge, the Kings will only win one thing, the lowest payroll in the NHL. When Anshitz had the nerve to give Luc a BIG check for $1,500 for his charity, I had to laugh out loud. You want to win here in LA? get rid of Anshitz.

WTF are the Kings thinking? I was also at that Kings breakfast in El Segundo and he said that he would revolve the Kings around Lubo, Cammalleri, Kopitar, Brown, Johnson, & Frolov but he didnt keep his word since he already traded Lubo & Camm. He is a great general Manger and I guess if there doing the rebuilding process they are doing it right but they could have at least done athing in the FA market since they have the most Cap Room out of all the other teams!
