Wow, this guy calls himself a sports reporter. Must be an American.

You may as well be a personal commentary blogger.

I hate to say it, but if you're going to provide commentary on a sport you should have some awareness of it. The Islanders rebuild has been the storyline around the team for the last three years and because of their focus on the draft they have one of the top ranked prospect pools in the league. Clearly there isn't a plan or talent there though.

Jon, I'd like to add Bailey, Poulin, Nielsen, Moulson, de Haan, Niederreiter to your list of young Isles with "no talent" as part of their "no plan".

Great reporting. Very knowledgeable. I guess there's a reason why you write for a paper based in Columbus, Ohio.

Lets see,"The Penguins have lost there way" mmmmm interesting. You lose Malkin,Crosby and Kunitz not to mention a few others here and there and the Pens still manage to be 4th overall in the east.No i don't think they've lost their way, their just finding a way to stay to get the job gone.Granted they don't look pretty doing it,but playing above .500 hockey without their stars. The rest of the NHL better be prepared when they get healthy, obviously without Malkin though.Lord Stanley here we come.LETS GO PENS

Wow Porty... you are like the American Taliban and Osama bin Laden all rolled into one. Pens awesome, but ya, hard to stay that way with Malkin and Crosby out. The Preds continue to amaze me with, uh, who's on their team again? Yet they just play tough and win. The race in the West is awesome... War CBJ!
