Crosby is the best, he is the smartest, and best passer since Gretzky and Ron Francis. How CAN RANGER$ fans complain about calls? The nhl caters to them! Last year in dire need of getting into the playoffs they disallow a goal that clearly went in against the islanders with 20 seconds to go. The game would have gone into ot. That was a huge game! Then playoffs game 4 against buffalo that puck clearly crossed the line! no doubt about it. Dont give me rachunek bc that was a very hard call to make. Determining if its a kicking motion or not is difficult. Please i dont want to hear about calls from the ranger$. Yes crosby gets a lot of calls but the guy is great thats also why he is very hard to stop along the boards. The ranger$ have there hands full and i dont see jagr being what he was against the Devils. The pens are all around more talented, but I definitely think the ranger$ have a shot they are a solid team. I like the Pens in 6 as the ranger$ fans will give another meaningless standing O!

Although the rangers got away with it the first round, I think its about time they start complaining about calls. If the other teams are going to do it all the time (and apparently get the refs on their side), then we should beat them to the punch.

I won't deny Crosby's talent but I've already lost any and all respect for him because of his antics. Yeah he's good, but without question Malkin and Ovechkin outshine him. It annoys the heck out of me that Crosby's become such a poster-boy, but Malkin and Ovechkin's skill + humility trumps Crosby's skill. This article is verbatim what I've been saying since before I even knew the Pens were going to be our next opponent. Rangers better be careful...and Avery better cut the cr@p; he'll be getting away with nothing. If we lose this series I'll bet two weeks salary it's because of Pittsburgh power plays. In the 8 games we played against them this season Crosby was a non-factor. We beat them 5 of the 8 games.

Lets get some facts straight first Effigy....In case you were in a coma for the second half of the season, Crosby missed 20 some games due to an injury, before that point he was pretty much a lock-in for the points race again.

Next why is this article making excuses for the rangers already, at least wait till you lose the series to do that. And I think you have had your share of penalties go your way, lets just examine the Avery shenanigan....When Bertuzzi did that crap years ago, he was given a penalty...meanwhile Avery..a warning. He can go play in a mickey mouse league somewhere else, or better yet go intern for Vogue, he can be a real man there.

He is also tied for 4th in WINS and 5th in games played. Arent;t these stats inportant too? Save % is a misleading stat - backup goalies who play in only 1-15 games may have a better save %. Also the difference between the best and tenth best could be a mere % points difference

You should also mention that the GM's nominate for the Vezina, not the "league"

If your going to act like your smart at least take the time to be objective about it.

If you look, Nabakov has a lower GAA than Lundqvist too, but he's also a Vezina candidate. All you Isles morons just look at numbers, but you dont SEE the cold, hard facts... that Lundqvist is a damn good goalie.

I would vote for Nabakov for the Vezina, by the way.
