Good one Gordon, lets hope and pray Snow doesn't pull the same No. 2 though, we have to draft Duchene.

I meant pull the same thing as he did in last years draft. Drafting Tavares if we get No.1 should be a no brainer.

Walk away from the draft with either Hedman or Tavares. Unless they are getting a legit superstar player in exchange for the #1 or #2 pick, then the draft will be a monumental failure. Please spare the few diehards left and just do the smart thing for once.

I could handle trading down last year we got a bunch of picks restocked the system. Yet still came away with a player I think will be good in Bailey. If we get 1 and don't Take Tavares I will boycott the team. I wont order center ice unless they get JT. If they get 2. They better get a Ransom or taje hedman.

Say it ain't so.. Not again. You would think this would be a relatively easy decision to make. Garth! Tavares or Hedman! Flip a coin if you must. No one will blame you for either one if they bust given the lofty hype each has. Trade DP and the late first rounder to move up the draft or a trade for a goalie not held together with duct tape and bubble wrap!

This is hysterical. Islander fans think there are two generational picks at 1 and 2. And their GM would consider trading out of the one or two slot. Absolutely hysterical.

Im sorry are you on a conference call with Garth Snow???

There are 2 fantastic players with tremendous upside coming into this draft. I think what Snow said was that he would be foolish as the GM to not field any offers thrown his way. That doesnt mean anything other than the fact that it cost nothing to listen to what any offers. Thats business 101.....you always listen.

They can still wind up with Tavares at #2. If Tampa gets and keeps #1, they will probably go for Hedman. Either one would be nice but they should go for Tavares. Their biggest problem is goal scoring. Get the sniper!!

This sould be something automatic. However Snow and his boys will make this so interesting nobody will know what is going to take place. Keep them guessing Snow.

I agree. I think he's just playing games. Also, I still like the trade down of last year but would NOT like a repeat of it this year. It was necessary last year because the system was so depleted. This year they need to go for the best players they can get. The team already has a stockpile of picks. Those eventually need to turn into quality players or they're worthless.

Snow has a lot of work to do. He has a lot of holes to fill on the Island and at the bridge. Goaltenders and defence for one. I think the Islanders need an NHL GM.

I'm playing the devils advocate and this is just a hypothetical question...What if Snow swapped #1 picks with the Devils and got Parise in that deal or the same kind of deal with another team...an up and coming superstar. Would you all be crying then?

Rename this pack of losers the "Long Island Ducks" and let them play in a dumpy arena in Commack.
