Yeah just what we need is more fans like the metal chick. Fans who stick their heads in the sand and make believe everything is going to be alright. The problem with our "fan base" is that they think its OK with the garbage we have been fed the last 15 years. You young fans don't know any better or don't watch hockey besides the crap that has become our team. I don't think the fans are threatening you Metal chick you computer jockey but more a threat to the franchise and their problem putting a competitive team on the ice for 15 years. Don't get so caught up in your computer world, really. Who can blame anyone for "having enough".I would have to agree with most who say that would be it because honestly that would be it for me and I have probably been watching this team longer than most of you have been alive. No, I'm not a Ranger fan so don't start with that nonsense like you pea brains always do but I'll be ready to order my Caps jersey after Snow screws up the draft!

After seeing the soundtigers game last night its obvious the islanders organization really needs some young defenseman and goaltending...both were pathetic last night. On the other hand the offense was pretty good. I'm not saying don't take Tavares but if they do they better focus on G and D for the rest of the draft and free agency.

D-Duck I guess your not a real fan if your ready to get your caps jersey after so many seasons. That goes for anyone else ready to jump ship or stop watching. In fact if the islanders were to screw this up somehow, I could see some people who have bee disguested for so long stop watching or stop going to games, But to go to another team..oh and by the way a team with the best player and who is suppose to win a cup in the next few seasons...see thats called being a front runner. Dont bash on fans who werent around during the glory days. Atleast people in there 30's and above have 4 cups to reminess about. Us young fans do not have that even though we know about the glorious history and are very much proud of it. Its the history that makes us want to dream and want a winner again.

Tavares /Hedman....doesn't matter...Isles will still suck in 2009-10-
Neither of these guys will be the savior.....maybe we finish in 27th place instead of 30th in 09-10-

It's gotta be a 3-4 year plan if we're not getting quality free agents which will not-

I second that but would become a Sabre's fan instead.

what does Snow mean ? " that he is inclined to keep the no.1 pick" If Snow blows this draft I swear I'm going to be a Devil's fan . 20 plus years of futility amd mediocrity has gotten me to this. An Islander fan since day 1, I can't put up with the losing . I've been true Blue, but this will be the last straw. Hope Snow does the right thing and turn this team around.

Mental Chick,
Are you too stupid to realize that no one cares what you think? You post the same **** everywhere, with you and your oversensitive feelings. WHO CARES?
We have not won ONE single round in 16 years and the circus like management gets tiresome after awhile. Not everyone's life revolves around the Islanders like yours does.
WHOA Paulie, take a pill, be nice to the lady. Lose the NY attitude, you're out here in Vegas now . Sit back and relax like all the transplanted Californians.Meditate. Ommmmmmmmm, ommmmmmmm.
