Sound Tigers lose playoff game at Coliseum

There are 6 comments on the Newsday story from Apr 17, 2009, titled Sound Tigers lose playoff game at Coliseum. In it, Newsday reports that:

It might seem an odd thing to move Bridgeport's opening two homes games in its first-round playoff series against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to the Coliseum away from the comforts of Harbor Yard, but if anything, it increased the pressure on the Sound Tigers because of who was watching.

There wasn't 4,927 people there. That was paid attendance. I say around 2500-3000 people and they were scattered outside of behind the benches. The refs were terrible as well.

Logan fails to mention that the game was moved because of scheduling conflict in Bridgeport.
They had committed to Elmo on ice for a week
Hope there are more people there tonight.
Entertaining night of hockey for only $15/seat.

Why would they want to degrade themselves while the Good NY hockey team is hustleing and playing very intense and winning, like Pro's .... That's good hockey... Let em play where they belong... Go Rangers !!

Being that's the only hockey you have and you still lose, awesome.
Another scam by Wang to try and make a penny. Just move the whole team away from their home rink.
Upstaged by Elmo ???
can't make that up.
Your an idi**! The arena had the show booked around a year in advance I heard. Now it doesn't say much about the arena staff but that is it. The scheduling conflict has nothing to do with isles management. I know as a rag fan that may be hard for you to understand.
