Pink-slipped Pens on verge of proving Hossa right

Right about now, what must bother the Pittsburgh Penguins more than their inability to switch off the power of Pavel or the disappearance of their stars during a meltdown in Motown is that Marian Hossa could be right.

I feel a little sorry for Hossa, since by all accounts he's a realy good guy. And I can't be too angry about what he did, since with Hossa, the Pens probably don't win the Stanley Cup. They probably wouldn't have signed Kunitz and Guerin, who became two essential pieces in the Cup run, and they almost certainly wouldn't have hired Dan Bylsma. Keeping Therrien would have meant staying in their little defensive shell and playing just well enough to lose in round 1 or 2. It all worked out for the best, and we have Hossa's own foolishness to thank.

And starbucks just named a new coffee drink after him, it's called "The Hossa" and it comes without a cup! ha ha.
