you beat me to it! But I agree, news of the Bears signing players from other teams practice squads should not be number one billing.

Good thing Huet was outstanding, because the rest of the Hawks were off their game for most of the night.

Lots of giveaways, poor decisions, that Huet had to back up. Jackets outworked the Hawks for a lot of the game.

The Keith/Havlat give and go x2 was terrific, well worth the price of admission.

Also noted that Rick Morresy had a article on the trip the team made to Northern Ontario to support Dale Tallon at his dad's wake.
Looks like the Hawks are finally getting some well deserved coverage.
Good to see Huet come in and play a great game. Looks like we have a great goal tending tandem this year.
On to Edmonton to play the Oilers.Lets make it 5 in a row. GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!

Good goaltending at both ends. Huet is really starting to show why he played so well last season with the Habs and the Caps. He continues to improve every time out! Grade:A This continues to get better! Way to go boys! GO HAWKS!

That Colorado game (elevation) trip must have taken more out of them than they realized.

That was a pretty play by Havalat/Keith.

Give Huet credit he's doing the job. The Jackets played a heck of a game and the Hawks for the most part looked flat but they don't reward style points in the NHL just wins. Hawks win the game and get the two points....Keep it going!

I like that we win when an ugly game comes up. Those used to be an excuse to lose. Not any more!

Nice job Huet and the interview didn't break from the format that the rest of the kids have followed: everyone else is given credit!

Havlat, now, is coming on. Keith and Sharp are making the game story every game. Kane and Versteeg are laying in the weeds. Toews keeps grinding. Bolland wins the most underrated player poll.

That last paragraph, except for the Bolland poll, I could repeat every game lately.

I gush about this every time I post anymore, but it really is a gas that we don't have a slug on the team. Everyone, at least is trying to contribute. Some are better at it than others, or have more talent, but, no one is coasting or showing lack of effort.

Somebody slap me awake! This is obviously a dream and I still need to get to work!

Would that the same could be said for other teams in town.

Blackhawks! The best thrill for the buck in town and for a very long time.

They can't all be masterpieces. 2 points is 2 points. Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver can all be had right now. Strong road trip and it'll be a very Merry Christmas!

Huet was the game changer. Hawks played a very poor first period, and Huet kept them in the game. That pad save on Rick Nash in the first was spactacular.

Huet and Khabby are living up to their "dual number 1" status.

Here's a stat for you: Huet in two games against the Jackets has made 78 saves and only surrendered 4 goals. From here on out I think it may safe to pencil in Huet for all the remaining trips to Columbus.

How great is this. Did seabrook "call "his bank shot into an empty net? The confidence our goalies are playing with is huge.

This has been great to watch all year, the thing that makes it even better is hearing the voice of Pat Foley while watching the game. It's great to hear the excitement back in his voice.

These are the games that will build confidence in the guys. They weren't very sharp, but they still found a way to win the game.
You can tell Havlat is healthy. He is going after the puck a little more and throwing his body in there once in a while. The Hawks are the most exciting sports team in Chicago! It is about time!!

I don't know if he called it or not, but the freak play was by far the most exciting moment of the game as a Columbus player batted the rink length shot down at the Blackhawk Blue Line while it continued into his own empty net. BTW, where is the Tribune's story today on Sean Avery who Dallas is letting go after his suspension?

The Hawks are doing great. However, to compete with San Jose and Detroit we need another top flight center. Anyone being shopped besides Sudin?

Would Sundin be such a cancer in the Hawks organization?

Any thoughts out the there in Hawk's Town?
