I think the Hawks would have made the postseason with Savvy behind the bench. Now it is time to see if Tallon made the right decision...

"Being so young, we don't think a whole lot about what's really going on. We're just playing to win and he definitely brings a lot of experience for us and knows what to expect and what's ahead."

Exactly! Of course, it doesn't hurt that he has a very talented, fast, tough and hard-working bunch of players (always tempted to say "kids").

I get this BS about "Q's" less than successful postseason/cup experiences, but, I've seen the results of a full season of his hand on the tiller. He won't be coming up anywhere short of the "one goal", because the kids have bought into his program and he looks confident. Synergy will drive this team from here on out and "Q" and the kids have it!

"They're OUR kids, damnit!"

Question for the regulars who post on the Hawks/Tribune blog: How many are going to game one on Thursday night that don't have season tickets? I am going with the kid. BFM and Tim are meeting up with us. Anyone else? It sure would be nice to get as many together before the game as possible. Section 313: My son and I have tickets in Section 313! Some good goalie talk? Let me know if you read this please. Chico
