Hard to believe in the long history of the Hawks that 9 wins in a row is a team record. Go figure. Anyway, go HAWKS!!!

Goes to show how insanely competitive the Original Six was, especially having to play those monster Canadiens teams.

New record! Way to go Hawks. Huet gets another A. The tandem is the best in the league with only Thomas and Fernandez in Beantown close to our two guys. As I have said before, imo Stephan Waite is doing a wonderful job as goalie coach with his duo. They are in competition with each other and in reality are both on the top of their game because of it. On to Detroit and back home to Wrigley on New Year's Day. The kid and I have tickets and are really looking forward to the game. Just finished watching the U.S.A. beat the Czechs 4-3 in a thriller in the World Junior Tournament in Ottawa on the NHL Network. Looks like a showdown possible between Canada and the US. GO HAWKS!!!

I love the way this team plays. Every line is good and they set a team record. They are only 4 Points away from Detroit and they play them the next 2 games. Keep it rolling Hawks and lets beat the Wings.

Versteeg is on his way to be the ROY, wouldn't that be awesome to have the ROY 2 years in a row!!!! Bolland has been a very nice surprise, plays very well. Putting Havlat on the 3rd line has paid off big time.

I can't wait for the Winter Classic. It will be great since Chico 17 is going with me, that will be a blast. Anyone else on here going to that game????

All the Buff critics are silenced for one game at least. Seems to me both he and Havlat are finally getting healthy.

Tim or anyone else: How many Wings fans will be at the Classic? Tim: Did they (Wings season ticket holders) get a chance at tickets?
