The first period was better but this team is far from where I expect it will be in a month. It seems to me they are mostly playing defensively on offense failing to go forward with a plan, and playing offensively on defense leaving the opposition lots of wide open opportunities.
And then we have the roster of rookie wannabes who try to be solo standouts instead of team guys.

Hope this is a lesson to all of the Gaborik haters. The guy was the Wild's offense, the Wild had a great record when he played but yet all the haters couldn't help but pile on. Have fun watching a team that will be lucky to score 3 goals a game.
