Derek Roy had two goals and an assist, giving new life to the Buffalo Sabres' playoff hopes in a 7-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night.

They need support from upper management and their ability to supply the team with players to make them competetive. Players have to play up to their full potential and not take nights off. Fans want to be entertained, except for last night's games have the Sabres been entertaining ? Putting an honest effort consistantly ? Has management been putting a decent team on the ice ? If you can answer yes then you may be a fool. Fans like to support a winner, like last year's team.

Rob- I am a hockey fan. I enjoy the sport. I also support my local team and understand that not every year is going to be entertaining for a city who quickly forgets about the team when the going gets rough.
