Mezei is absolute garbage. Pure garbage. He just played a hand in costing us the 2nd game in a row. If he plays during the next game on Thurs. night I will not re-new my season tickets. I can not be the only one that sees Mezei costing us game after game game after game.... Just cut this guy and play Matthias instead. Any 10 year old could make that obvious coaching call!

Not to quibble, but how does cutting Mezei, a defenseman, open up a spot for Matthias, a forward?

But yes, Mezei does stink, as does Cullimore.

One of many very tough losses. Playoffs are slipping away unless we can string together some wins...SOON!

It's over people, unless JM pulls off a huge deadline deal to radically change the structure of this team. Stringing together wins is just not what the Panthers do. Too many injuries, a burnt out goalie, too many young guys who should be in the AHL, too many sorry penalty prone defensemen and a bunch of vets who don't know how to close out meaningful games. What a missed chance this year will be. A division full of shite and they still couldn't pull it off.

I honestly don't know how management can look at themselves in the mirror. This is a F'ng disgrace.

Martin..How he can still have ANY job is beyond me. Ok, he's dealt a hand of cards that gives him a beat up team. The team hasn't played beat up till the 3rd period? In other words..they are just flat out blowing games. A team that totally sucks, or is "too young" doesn't go up 2-0, 3-1, etc and just blows a game. BTW Mezei AIN'T no young guy.

Mezei is wasting money..JUST TAKE his salary and set it on fire. He's the worst defenseman I have almost EVER seen. His passing is attrocious, and for a man of his size, he's as fragile as a pre-schooler with a fever. He's trash, garbage, and a waste of an NHL uniform.

This team has talent. Even at it's MOST beat up..you can see bright spots in the young guys. Yeah, MARTIN doesn't PLAY the game...BUT, he instills no confidence, character, boldness, freshness, or spirit in this team. HE is the LOWEST common denominator on this team, and should be FIRED.

If you had to compare Martin's coaching ability to an NHL player...That player would be Brani-slob Mezei.

Basic Math.

Panthers + Fork = This Season.

Fire Martin NOW!! If they can't save the season, at least they can save face by showing that they have identified the problem.

By moving Montador back to his natural position on defense, that's how. Mezei is a penalty machine.

Why oh why can't this organization develop our own defensemen? Other than Bow, every defensenmen has been acquired elsewhere.

Monty has great heart, but he's not a top 6 d-man either. Putting him back on the blueline won't help this team. And I don't think rushing up Matthias at this point helps either the team or Matthias' development. The time to have done that was when he was here briefly.

Doesn't Jacques get it yet that these guys, no matter how hard they dig- don't buy his system. His lack of connection with them and certainly if he showed any emotions it would be an improvement. In the battle of jobs- Jacques should remove the coach as a courtesy to the team. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA yeah since that won't happen- look for him to pull the trigger on sending Ollie out of here before Super Tuesday rolls around. I'm pretty sure if he can get a bag of pucks & save Cohen a few million, it'll be a done deal!

Smash Mezei's face with shards of glass tied to a stick as many times as he's cost this team this season, switch Monty back to D where he belongs. Call up Matthias, send Globke back. Sign Bou to a long-term deal. Make sure you secure Frolik for years to come. Make a trade for...

...wait, what? Why am I wasting time typing this?

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go watch some more highlights of Mezei tickling Ryan Malone on his way in for the game winner. Hmm, perhaps a feather would help, Branislav?

Putting back on the D-line to replace Mezei is an instant improvement, regardless of if he's a top-6 or not.

And why would we waste time with a guy like Globke over Matthias?

Another Panthers meltdown. Gee, big surprise there!(Like I didn't see that coming). Do I even need to comment on this game? I think everyone gets the picture by now.

No Heart + Bad Coaching + Zero Leadership + Lazy Effort + Cheap Owner + Bad Drafting + Awful Trades + No Pride + No Discipline + No Culture of Excellence = Losing Franchise

Nuff Said.

"Words can't describe it right now. We have to do something in a hurry to fix it," defenseman Bryan Allen said. WHAT!!! You guys have been saying this all year. Not only does Mezei suck so does Sally. He is a poor man's Svehla. This team does not want to win nor does it know how to win. Martin must sell off these birdheads and the fire himself. Pitiful.
