Flyers should sign Calgary defensemen-enforcer Cory Sarich,6-4, 207. Sarich wants out of Calgary. He's tired on riding the pines and wants to contribute. Sound familiar Jody? Hal Gill would also be a nice fit. Flyers are desperate for help on D with Chris Pronger out for extended period of time. 3179

Flyers have got off to great start on absolutely key 13-game stretch with two roads wins at Calgary and Phoenix. But, I'm uncomfortable with 4-2 win at Phoenix. Got four first-period goals and then took foot off pedal. Got out hit 49-16 which is totally unacceptable except with Laviolette-coach team and outshot 38-30. Shane Doan levies 14 hits on us. Renaldo takes hit shot. Where's Jody? Guess what? Healthy scratch. Great to have Jagr back. This team could be very special if it had a COACH. We have game at Buffalo, and visits by Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay this week. We'll see.
