What a game! Habs pressed hard but Marty stood on his head to make the stops. Depending on how deep the boys make it, Marty is the Conn Smythe winner. Go Flyers! Crush the Habs!

Great series so far. Now even a three goal lead makes me nervous!

Marty is the backbone so far. We need to step up the "D" and stay out of the box. Last nights game was like one huge PP for the Habs. That Hatcher call at the end was kind of hokey too being a major. They almost tied it up due to another poorly officiated game. I don't know how much more I can take. The refs have our number.

I agree 100% the refs stank last night!!! They appear to be trying to make the flyers lose.. Just cause the Habs are in 1st in the east and the flyers are in 6th shouldn't matter the game was not called fair at all last night!

Here's a good read on a writer in Toronto writing about the fans in Philly and the environment.

I'm not just talking about 1 suspicious call!!! I'm talking about many throughout the series!(They never televised (at least on Versus) the 1st period penalties that gave the Habs a 5 on 3) Show me the hook and the slash. NEVER was it shown. But being from montreal you obviously don't see it the same way I see it.

Yes, I could tell the Montreal player was soooo injured he may never be able to play again when he skated up behind Hatcher and cross-checked him from behind. The only stupid thing I saw out of that was the fact that Hatcher towered over him by about a foot. He was lucky Hatcher decided it wouldn't be worth the effort to pound the snot out of him. The Montreal player got caught not paying attention and paid for it. I understand the boarding call on Hatcher, to a point, but I can't for the life of me figure out why they gave him a game misconduct. If the Montreal player hadn't been wearing a visor, I doubt he'd have shed any blood from the hit. Now, since VS sucks as a sports channel, there could have been something there they neglected to air which may have changed my opinion. As it stands, that is my opinion. You can cry all you want. The Flyers won.

WHAT?! That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard? What did Hatcher do that isn't done 50 times per game? Because the other player got a tiny scrape from it,(because of HIS visor), you think Hatcher should be thrown out of the league?! YOU'RE crazy!(And sounding a bit "retarded" yourself...)

Here are some good links:

This is an article in todays Toronto Globe
describing the envirnonment and fans at the Wac last night.

http://www.globesports.com/servlet/story/RTGA...

This is the Canadians house booing the United States National Athem. Since i'm a forum member on www.hockeyfights.com , there has been a lot of whining about the booing of the Canadian national anthem, but it seems to be a two way street since one of the Flyer posters attached this video of the game 7 of the Bruins/Habs series.

Funny a Habs fan would cry foul for that hit, but justify the cheap shot punch to the face that Kostopolous had on Timmonen after game one... But hey, after all, even your coach said it, he deserved because he "smirked" after a goal was scored... horrors.

And award Price an Emmy for that "look i've been shot by a cannon" fall he took after Downies stick caught the back of his ankle on his way towards the puck. Two guys on one punching him in the face and he get's the double minor...

Maybe you'd like to whine about Hextall's ghastly attack of the fine upstanding citizen of hockey Chris Chelios when he played there. Oh that's right... his cheap shot on Brian Propp (which instigated the attack) was clean... no elbow to the head... it was just a wind gust of his elbow missing that his head that knocked him out "before" he hit the ice.

Carbonneau was an idiot and a whiner when he played and he coaches the same way. Much like Lindy Ruff in Buffalo. Cry on my friend, cry on...

I SEE IT THE WAY IT HAS BEEN

THE FLYERS ARE DIRTY

they hit illegaly, cheat, attempt to injur at every turn, and their fans aren't happy even when they win doing it !!!

IT'S A DISGRACE REALY, AND IF THERE IS ANY JUSTICE THE FLYERS WILL LOSE THIS SERIES BECAUSE OF IT !!!

HATCHER, A 15 YEAR VETERAN, SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER AND THE ENTIRE FLYERS ORGANIZATION SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIS ACTIONS LAST NITE!!!

LET'S GO FLYERS!
this is THE SINGLEM MOST RETARDED THING I HAVE READ TODAY

#1- HE WAS WEARING A VISOR

#2 HATCHER LEPT FORWARD OFF HIS FEET AND WAS AIRBORNE WHEN HE BLINDSIDED BOULLION FROM BEHIND IN WHAT CAN ONLY BE DESCRIBED A S ADELIBERATE ATTEMPOT TO NOT JUST INJUR, BUT TO INJUR PERMANENTLY.

NOT ONLY WAS THE HIT ILLEGAL, IT WAS DELIBERATELY DANGEROUS AND CLEARLY WITH MALICE OF FORETHOUGHT!!!

THE ONLY WONDER HERE IS WHY THE LAGUE DOESN'T ATTACH A MOST LENTHGY SUSPENSION TO THE ALREADY REDICULOUS 5 MINUTE MAJOR!!!

THE FORCE OF THE HIT WAS SO STRONG THAT THE VISOR ITSELF BUCKLED AND CUT INTO BOULLION'S FACE FOR MANY STICHES!!!

NOONE COMPLAINED ON THE HABS SIDE, THE ONLY CMPLAINING SO FAR HAS BEEN FROM YOU FLYER FANS BITCHING LIKE 2 YEAR OLDS ABOUT THE REFEREERING...WHICH AGAIN, JUST PROVE THE SAME OLD POINT YOU GUYS ARE DRIVING HOME ON YOUR OWN EVERYDAY OVER AND OVER HERE...

FLYERS FANS ARE RETARDS WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS SPORT, OR THE WORDS...RESPECT AND DIGNITY IN COMPETITION !!!

Geez, Spartacus, got your panties in a bunch? The referees have been questionable for both sides; it just seems like more crappy calls go against the Flyers. As far as the boo woo hooing your coach and fans do it just the same; we just stay in our own country to cry about it. It's evident that your interpretation of the hits and "face washing" aren't based on what you really see, but what you WANT to see. So mind your business and post with your buddies up North about how evil the fans are, and stay off this forum, eh?
Oh, and learn to spell, retard.
GO FLYERS. 2 to 1, eh?

On the bright side, did you all hear about the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton player who was arrested for streaking down the street. Charges included public drunkenness, among other things. . .

#1- HE WAS WEARING A VISOR

Yes, I acknowledged that in my post. Please re-read a little more slowly so you don't miss it again.

THE ONLY WONDER HERE IS WHY THE LAGUE DOESN'T ATTACH A MOST LENTHGY SUSPENSION TO THE ALREADY REDICULOUS 5 MINUTE MAJOR!!!

Obviously the NHL has decided that the hit wasn't as dangerous as you see it as they didn't issue a suspension. Besides, isn't the hit that by Kostopoulos on Kimmo Timonen just as classless? And don't tell me it isn't as dangerous. There was a man around here that was charged with involuntary manslaughter for hitting a guy with his fist once and killing him. Look it up. Better yet, here's a link for you:
http://www.foxnews.com/wires/2007Apr09/0,4670...

THE FORCE OF THE HIT WAS SO STRONG THAT THE VISOR ITSELF BUCKLED AND CUT INTO BOULLION'S FACE FOR MANY STICHES!!!

A cut doesn't mean the visor buckled. Again they didn't show us any replays on VS but it all that must happen is the helmet to shift from its proper position on the man's head and it can cause damage like that.

RESPECT AND DIGNITY IN COMPETITION !!!

Is that what you call name calling and deciding the opinion of others is "retarded"? Wow, I'll need to add that to my dictionary because it isn't there. One other thing, you really don't need to use all capital letters to vent your spleen on us here. We can read just fine in lower case too. Thank you and have a nice day.:-)
