Shorthanded goal trips Isles in loss to Flyers

Full story: Newsday

By now, it must seem like Groundhog Day to the Islanders every time a puck gets past whoever is manning the points on their power play.

If the players don't want it, why should the fans continue to believe...they proved it Saturday they don't want it...WHAT THEY WILL WITNESS TODAY IS A BUNCH OF HOCKEY PLAYERS WHO WANTED IT, BEAT THE ODDS, PROVED THEY HAD THE GUTS TO WIN, DESIRE AND PLAYING LIKE A TEAM...THEY MADE ISLANDERS A PROUD FRANCHISE.

No Mr. Wang, WE ARE ISLANDERS, but it's time for you to look at your team and ask them if that want to be Islanders. It's time for you to put 20 players on the ice, who truly believe in OUR HISTORY AND OUR TRADITION...getting tired of the same old thing, million dollar guys playing for the buck in lieu of the glory.

Isles strugle badly on the power play, and wants to blame someone, should be looking in the mirror, cause he isn't giving Tambellini much of a chance to contribute, THINK ITS SO FUNNY TO WATCH Park AND Hilbert start on the power play. Coach Nolan, come on, what is this so hard for u to do, he's proved his worth to organzation, its time to let him use his shot.....boy oh boy....

What a effin disgrace you Hosers are. You can't even get a friggin goal ??? W TF ??
Me and the boys can probably beat your pathetic azz es.
Jaffe, Rose, you guys should ST FU ! You whining little sissys.
A disgrace !!! End of conversation.

BTW 52 shots doesn't mean a damn thing if one of them doesn't get the back of the net.
Maybe they shouldn't have skated around in pre game with their old uniforms. I would be imbarassed if I was one of the Bore of Fore.
Take my jersey of BI TCHES ! LMAO

Let me let you in on a little secret-
THERE IS NO TRADITION !
Nobody cares about the Islanders, nobody cares about what they did in the early 80's (25 years ago) Nobody in NY, NJ or any other place in the world cares about the Islanders except the 4200 Islander fans on Long Island. The rest of the NHL doesn't even care........it's a joke, let it go- The Islanders should be more concerned about the present and the future-

after an exhibition like the last 2 games, without any care, its time for this stupid owner wang wang to dump the whole bunch of these guys, they are too slow, too small, too soft, too stupid, too scared, we need an owner who cares, not this oriental sum dum fuk, and snow, and nolan are definately part of the problem,if wang doesnt do something to upgrade this team over the summer, they all can kiss my A&&, after 35 years of rooting for them, maybe its better if they fold or move, if its going to be a continuation of futility from these moronic misfits.

one goal scored on 87 shots in the last 2 games, that should enlighten some of you how pathetic these clowns are, most of those shots were from angles that the puck has a 1 in a million chance of going in,why, because they are a team of wussies, afraid to go in front and score an "ugly" goal.they want to make it a pretty goal,i hope some of you are not still hoping and praying they make the playoffs, if so, you people are gluttons for punishment, and embarassment, better to forget it all for this year.
