It was 1 Game. A Game on their Home Ice, A Game with almost equal Scoring Chances. Detroit had at least 10 More shots but scoring chances were close.
Game 2 will be different. Kane and toews will be back in there and you can betSeabrook will look different UNLESS he is hurting and not talking. Hawks in 6. |

"We played them the right way," Franzen said of shutting down Kane and Toews. "We always had a guy high and slowed them down and deflected them to the outside. That's the key against those guys because they're so skilled."
This is exactly what the Hawks DIDN'T do in Game 1. Forwards getting caught in transition/turnovers is what killed the Hawks in this game. Hopefully they are able to make the necessary adjustments for game 2. |
