The Hawks have little chance to win this. Detroit is better in ALL facets of the game. Wings win in 6 with two of those wins not even being close.

No really, if the hawks can take one, Joe Quinville looks at his team when the series is over and says, "hey look guys, we just won a game against arguably the best dynasty of all time. We had no business being on the ice with this team."

I'm not even gonna act like I haven't been to Chicago's South side. What a horrible and depressing situation.

Detroit Sucks is such a brilliant chant. It shows both the class and intelligence of the Chicago fan, most of whom did not even know the Blackhawks existed until a few months ago. It is almost as intelligent as blaming a fan for the choke job the Cubs did in 2003!

This is not a big series for Detroit or Michigan, it is an annual event. You have your yearly CTA increases and tax hikes, Detroit has its annual NBA Final/Stanley Cup Final/World Series/MSU Final Four appearance.

I have absolutely no problem with the Hawks being underdogs.

Wings have something to defend and the Hawks have something to prove.

I love the cocky red rags fans. I forgot how awful they actually are. Some how I get the feeling your going to make Nucks fans look humble.

Its funny how the 8th seed Ducks take the series to 6 games and 57 minutes only for the Wings to win on a fluke goal.

Lance? That you? ;)

The speed of Chicago is going to give Detroit difficulty. Not to mention, they were able to get into Luongo's head, and Luongo is a MUCH better goaltender than Oswood.

It'll be a great series and what better than to have two of the original franchise teams decide the conference title.

And look at it this way - Most Blackhawks fans still have Chicagoland to call home if they lose. If the Red Wings prevail, all fans can do is revel in Detroit - the city that observes Hell Night every year.

How many cups has Luongo Won? I seem to remember Osgood winning two as the starting goaltender and being a backup for a third. Maybe Luongo is a better regular season goaltender.

An annual event like the night before Halloween when they burn up Detroit. You have no clue about hockey and hockey fans in Chicago. I won't trash Redwings fans but we can hold our own with any city as far as fans and loyalty go. Your annual NBA final? All I remember is the classless Pistons walking off the court when we beat them like a drum on our way to a dynasty. SIx wins, buddy, should have been 8 in a row if Jordan had realized back then he could never hit a curveball. Baseball - White Sox couple of years ago, did you miss that one in the smog? MSU - not in Detroit, pal. And Detroit does suck, can't hold a candle to Chicago as a city, it's citizens, you name it. Detroit - that's why I drive a foreign car.

I'm going Wings in 5 I hate to say it but our Hawks probably met their match. We wouldn't have even beat them this year had the last 2 games actually meant something this season. Wilbon doesn't even think that we will win. Detroit sucks but I hope for a valiant effort against those armpit dwellers.
