The Hawks are fortunate to have had so much success early on, as they've still got a fairly nice cushion to fall back on. However, anyone would know, the Hawks included, that this is not the type of play that any team that figures to be a serious contender should be playing. I mean the Islanders had 54 futile points and come into your house and put a whipping on you. Not good!!!!

The reason why the Hawks are not playing good is because Wisniewski is gone, he was the best defensemen of the Hawks and everybody in the lokerroom loved him. What a bad decision to trade him, the Hawks will regret it.

Ben, did you know that THE WIZ has had 3 knee operations in the past ???
Just a comment that I happened to catch during last weeks DUCK game where he only played 5+ minutes in the 1st period and 2+ minutes in the 2nd period, then left the ice, not to return; and I don't think he has played since. Just a thought that perhaps NOW was the right time to trade him.

The only way we will know for sure how much of a loss that trading THE WIZ was, is how well this guy SAMMI PAHLSSON plays when he is finally able to, and what if anything he accomplishes.

I still think however, that DALE TALLON is a lame duck GM in the making, and that JOHN MCDONOUGH will make another big time splash when the HAWK season terminates and before the Draft Day Celebration in June.
