The Sabres are like the Bills they don't know what they got till it's too late. They also ain't really good negotitations either.
Let's see if they learned anything from last year with the Brain Campbell trade with Steve Bernier & 1st draft pick. Yes, his 1st game here he scored twice & assisted once & stood up for his fellow players. But will it last; is the question.
The situation with Ryan Miller is whole different matter. If the Sabre's Management don't keep him they better kiss the Stanley Cup good-bye for a lot years to come. Miller is a great goalie, we've had a lot of good goalies in the past but in alot of ways Ryan could stand up to them & he has. Any chances of that Cup in the near future they better not get rid of Miller or anyone else. I know it ain't only Miller that wins the games for us but he's the 85% of the reason.

ya...but is ryan miller worth 6 million a year? Thats the question. Should you always be worrying about a 6 million a year goaltender giving up a one goal lead going into the 3rd period---most likely on an easy shot no less?

Well that also has alot to do with the players. You can't expect the team to play terribly & Miller be perfect every time. That's what there's defense for. The puck should not be in our end continuosly. When it is, chances are one of those shots are gonna go threw. Esp. on our power plays- alot of the times, the puck is being shot by the other team, not the sabres. They all need to get it together, like they did last night. Miller can't do it all. Miller has had some goals on him that are very hard to see how he missed it BUT he has been pretty darn good.

Are you kidding me? What do any of these jokers on sports radio really know about running a team?
What gives people the idea that they're some omniscient entity when it comes to sports. They're just big-mouths.
Half these guys are just has-beens-wishing-they-made-th eir-high-school-sports-team.

Slow on pulling the trigger ? They don't even have a gun in their holster. Too cheap or stupid to pull off the big deal. Lost too good player in the last 3 years. Larry and Tom need to wake up.
