I didn't see the game. Were the deflections a result of not clearing the front of the net (instead of happening up high)? Sounds like a sloppy defensive effort, though you never like to hear your goalie got beat short side.

Huet was the reason for this loss. Two soft goals for him in this one

Hawks are much better than the last few years. The team has alot to be happy about but, they have a way to go.They will not win the cup but, at least they're trying hard.

Brian Campbell and Huet are both terrible. Cut them today or fire Quenneville for not benching both of them today. Campbell is a defensemen, correct? How about playing some defense. Huet has been a sieve all year. Thank God they did not trade Nikolai Khabibulin.

Calling all the Campbell apologists. What's his "role" again? His one PP assist surely offsets that glorious -3 and numerous turnovers again, right? Or does only his points total count but his plus/minus rating?

Tallon should stay a scout. He screws the pooch with the signings of the Huet and Campbell boat-anchors. He way overpaid for Khabibulin. Both NK and Havlat are only producing in their final contract year. Both should've been traded for building blocks, instead of walking after the season for zilch.

Two bad give-aways by Campbell, two soft goals by Huet, especially the one given up right after the Hawks had tied the game, were the difference in this one. The Hawks also hit two crossbars that could have changed the game if they went in. They carried the play for a good part of the game, but were a little sloppy in their own zone at times, though. Let's come out hard tomorrow and take it to the Avalanche.

ONE soft goal given up by Huet. The other goal that hockey know nothings are talking about was a team defensive mistake. Three defenders lined up in a row trying to block the shot with two Bruins on each side of the net standing there with NO ONE even near them. That was poor! I'm not a Huet apologist at all, but that goal was not his fault. Boston probably needed the game more than the Hawks with NJ on their heels and a healthy Brodeur back. You can always tell posters who never played the game. They blame one individual or two for a loss. No understanding of the hockey team game. The biggest moaners and critics usually have little to no experience in the sport. Nothing new.

Campbell could've stayed in Chicago for this one...Brutal! Huet gives up his typical 1 or 2 softies a game..Goalies union or no goalies union right now Huet flat out stinks..Their may be 5 guys in front of him but your goalie is your last line of defense and if he can't stop a shot like the one Boston scored on their second goal - forget it!

I think the Hawks are comfy in the fourth seed right now and me thinks Vancouver or whoever is the fith seed needs to put some preasure on the Hawks...We also need to get Bulin and Sharp healthy ASAP...

Ok Chico you got it...Hey when a guy stinks he stinks you can play the game or not play the game or you could be a fan of the game for many years to know...You can call out players in every game win or lose and point out who's playing well or who's tanking...
