did Ray Stein fall asleep in his coffee and drown or did he do his job and carefully check the facts on this story before it was sent to print???????? Is it accurate??????? Or is it just more smoke screens like Aaron Portzline normally puts in this paper and his blogs

OK Howson, this is your make or break year. Put a competitive team on the ice, or I don't renew my season tickets next year.

No BS'ing around. Time to put up or shut up. I've waited 11 years for a quality product, and I won't wait one more.

Carter would be great, but the price seems to be approaching a king's ransom. The 8 pick and a top 6 forward would be worth it, though.

Stastny might be a nice fit, too. He's still young and has a ton of upside. And I don't think it would take too much to get Liles, who would be an upgrade on the blue line.

Everyone's got the CBJ by the puck because they know they MUST do something. The only way something half-way decent works in their favor is if someone is just a desperate to get rid of salary. They put themselves in this situation by not being even the least bit aggressive in the past.

The Jackets have been looking for a skilled defenseman and top 6 center for the last 5 years...

There's been too many "developmental" players on the roster the last few years, and the lack of productivity shows.

If I'm Howson, stack the roster with veterans this year take some of the weight off the younger guys.

Well, those names all sound great. Kind of like a Chris Clarke, Ethan Moreau and Craig Rivet sounded three years ago. When will we give talent (read Calvert and Clitsome) a shot rather than weigh the team down with has been captains?

Hey Foote - have you sold your house yet???
