some of youu guys really should open up your eyes a little more. Ok the islanders have hit a rocky stage in their season and what no other teams do ? the islanders are a decent team they just need to put in a little bit more effort when they need too. all teams make mistakes; and most people take it out on the islanders when they make a mistake.

I don't think anyone should be that upset over last night's loss. Ottawa dominates most of the league. The Isles had a wild OT win the night before and then had to travel to ottawa w/dubie in net for the second straight night. I never thought they had a chance. As long as they put it immediately behind them, I'm not that worried. To me, it looks like they've begun to come out of their slump. They're starting to put up more goals. Sure, they're not scoring 5 or 6, but they'll never win those types of games. They're beginning to get back to the tight defensive games that they won earlier in the season...a lot of 2-1, 3-2 games. If they can make the playoffs with the 7th seed or higher to avoid the sens, I think they'd have just about as much of a chance as anyone else this side of ottawa.

Ottawa will choke in the playoffs as always. Lots of talent with no heart gets eliminated every time. The penalty on Bergenheim at the end of the 1st period was BS. If anything both players should have gotten penalized. And how come the Alfredsson slash on Fedotenko goes unnoticed. The officiating sucks.
GO ISLES!!!!
