I cant believe that they would let this bum back in the lineup. His time is up and he is just not that smart. Keep the kids in the lineup and send he to Bridgeport.

If he's going to be in the line-up so be it... I'm hoping then that when the Isles have games coming up against the Rangers he takes that piece of crap/cheap shot artist Ryan Hollweg and tears him a new one. And while he's at it, Sean Avery needs some face rearranging as well.

And yeah I know Simon is noted for cheap shots as well. So You Ranger fans can stick it up yours while you're at it.

Thank you islanders for negotiating a contract with me to play on the same line as Chris Simon. I feel that since I dont know how to play hockey, I fit in perfectly with the rest of the islanders.

I have had enough with Nolan allowing his best friends (simon, hilbert, etc.)to get more time than these kids who deserve to be here. You watch when Simon comes back, he will be on the top line. He won't score a goal and Nolan will still say that he likes his effort and he deserves to be there.

Hey Nolan, he doesn't deserve to be here along with all the other idiots you give all the ice time to! They don't score!

I cant believe Isles players think the suspension was too long. In all honesty the league should have suspended him for the rest of the year. The NHL is the sport that hands out the most lenient suspensions.

oh, and ed c.... theo wasnt a crackhead. Kevin Steven was the crackhead.

Do you expect anything better from an isles fan Effigy...they can never get their facts straight.

The NHL would probably reinstate a murderer

Haha, does that mean there were two crackheads?? I am positive about Theo. Never understood why the Rangers hopped on that train. That guy left a mess everywhere he went and was not that good. Guess everyone makes a mistake. I am a Yankees fan and they let Steve Howe come back about 8 times, so management rarely cares if they are good players

I'm an Islander Fan but guess what, this guy is a washed up bum that should not be in hockey anymore. It's time to see if the younger players can play. Since it's Valentines Day we should all call Milbuy to express our love to him for trading Loungo, McCabe, Spezza, Redden, Okinen, Bertuzzi and not drafting Heatley.

I cant wait to take up ice time from young players !

How can I outdo my latest accomplishments, such as swinging my hockey stick like barry bonds at hollwegs face (wow i need some steroids, i looked pretty weak on that one, hollweg got right back up)

and using my skate to try and slice another players ankle...

Hmmm that Zednik injury looked pretty cool, I wonder if I can get another 45 day vacation for doing it on purpose to someone...

Its ok the islanders will always give me another shot, I actually let Nolan sleep with my wife!

Here's a question in response to Simon's return ... WHY?

Read this --> http://my.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php...

Simon's return is a joke and the Islanders are making it worse by celebrating it.

Please come to nassau coliseum this week. We have had nothing exciting going on in the last 25 years, but we will now be retiring the numbers of Chris Simon, Charles Manson, Saddam Hussein and other psychopaths.
Al Arbour will also be coaching

“say what you mean...”

Since: Nov 07

and mean what you say.

Well said, the potential return of Simon is absolutely haunting me.
For the simple reason that he brings NOTHING to the team.
Enforcer? Pshaw, for a year now (what little of a year he has played), other teams (enforcers) have simply avoided him out of what appears to professional respect for a washed up boxer.
And other than a perceived
"enforcer" role, what else does Chris Simon bring to the table? NOTHING. He's done. Can't skate, can't pass, can't shoot, can't score.

If anything, he brings a HUGE TARGET to the ice.
If I'm on an opposing team, and I see him on the ice, I AM CHOMPING at the bit to egg him into doing SOMETHING STUPID again, and cost the Isles yet another game.
Not only that, every ref in the league is gonna BE LOOKING for ANY little excuse to whistle Simon off the ice.

THIS IS A DUMB DUMB DUMB MOVE BY THE ISLES.

Rangers didn't put up with him dopey. Piles will probably hang a banner when Simon breaks his record and his next suspension is 50 games. They are making the damn banner already !
