good win tonight. wade stood on his head big time. we took way to many penalties and really need to cut them down to two maybe three a game. lets see them crash the net and just put the puck on net and great things will happen. i almost wish dipietro wasn't going to the all star game because he could use the rest. huge game on thursday. we need this game to cap off a decent first half.

...but if they only took two penalties then they couldn't have scored 3 shorties!!! Okay, that was tongue in cheek. This was not a complete game for the Isles and for a bit it looked like it was going to follow the pattern of the last two games. It was nice to see them recover and secure the win. It is beautiful to see Bergenheim and Comeau playing consistently well. I think that is key to some of the increased production from guys like Sillinger. This team is once again becoming very balanced - as they were to start the season. We CAN get away without having a true sniper as long as they maintain balanced scoring.

Blake Comeau's a Ted type player, he will be here a while and will continue to improve

DP is playing thursday in Boston, gets 1 night off...plays for 15 minutes in the super-skills and then 1 period in the all-star game before getting another night off before the Islanders play on the 29th. I think he'll be rested.

Yeah, they could've. They scored twice on the same PK. Haha.

Dubie looked good. There's no reason why he can't play a few more games, especially when the Isles are playing a lot of games a week.
