Don't send Comeau down!!!! Play him!!!!!! He was your best forward at the tale end of the season. He controlled the puck and also checked very well.

Also I thought the reason why got rid of Nolon was to play young guys. So why is it that weight, guerin, sim are playing on one line and park on the second. yes sim and park hustle but they are 3rd and 4th liine players. young offensive players should get to play with weight and guerin otherwise they wont learn how to be 1st & 2nd line players. remember in the amount of ice time that sim and park get on that line they will get a point every 10 -15 games. real 1st &2nd players get 2-3 points a game. POINT: Play young fowards with veteran offensive players!!!!

What Matinek taking his normal stint on the DL earlier then usual this year? The Chinamen must be fuming, I think he is the highest paid player on the team.

Witt will not be an Islander come March 3. Is in the the final year of a three year contract, and this team is destined for dead last. Having said that, I'm glad that he is ok.

Witt signed an extension at the end of last season. He's not going any where.

Blake C was deemed out of game shape by Gordon, thats why hes not playing. I know he played well the end of last year but you can't show up out of shape

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing but the logic that was given (by Gordon) for the line combinations was that young guys have a tendency to defer to veterans when they're on the same line. He thinks it will be better for their development to play together.

Has he played Bailey yet? I thought I read on this rag he was playing Friday, didn't see him. Saw he wasn't dressed on the home opener on Saturday. And only caught bits and pieces on Monday. Any reasons given?

Bailey is injured. They have been giving out the same vague answers about him too.
