of course ruutu isnt gonna get into it. he knows he faked being extremely hurt and probably also did something to provoke Simon.

Simon is a goon, he does what he does..

Crosby said. "But when you start stepping outside of that and using your stick or a skate or elbows, there's no place for that." Thank you Mrs.Crosby

Crosby is starting to whine like Gretzky used to.
Sid the kid better toughen up or he is going to end up like Eric Lindros

you're both off base. Ruutu isn't commenting because it isn't in his nature to do so. yes, he does what he can to draw penalties on the ice, though clearly has lines he doesn't cross. that's what he is getting paid to do. whatever happens as a result - no grudges.

the comments Crosby made above were reasonable. he said he expects to get hit hard. sounds tough enough to me.

Great job sid for not taking garbage off of anyone as for the idiots who say crosby is a wimp like gretzky or whatever I only saw gretzky get in one decent fight in all of his carrer and he got pummeled in wich crosbys case the defenceman gave crosby a cheapshot and sid punched him out. good job sid. As for ruutu and simon, Simons a fighter, Ruutus a fighter. instead of simon doing what he did he should of dropped his gloves and they could of sorted it out right there.

Let it be known I love hockey with a great balance of physical play and finesse. I miss the fighting that has disappeared over the years. Players like Gretzky and Crosby expect to get hit hard, they know that its part of the game. What Chris Simon does over and over is not in the context of the game. He should be kicked out of the league for at least a year with the offenses he has under his belt. If Chris Simon is supposed to be such a tough guy he should just drop the gloves and stop being a coward with all these dirty cheap shots. The game wouldn't miss a Chris Simon. The league will keep shrugging it off until someone dies.
