Looks like the Panthers got their perfunctory two game winning streak under the belt. Time to start sucking again. Weiss needs lasik or glasses. That guy can't get a shot on the net to save his life. When he finally does get a point blank opportunity it just melts into the goaltender's pads. This team needs some "finishers" on offense.

Wow, you really do see the glass "half empty" don't you? You must be the most negative person on the planet. Must really be a downer to be you. The Panthers played a great game and finished strong and won. It was an exciting game and the Panthers kept at it and didn't quit. Lighten up Red boy.

While i respect your right to your opinion, you my friend have the appearance as possibly being neurotic... Step away form the panthers, get the nhl ticket on direct t.v. and find a new team... These kids are making you age 3 fold one painstaking game at a time... Maybe they're starting to learn how to win late, although that wasnt evident at the end of the edmonton game... but, the kids a re a work in progress, and i'll take a 2 game win streak over a 3 game losing streak anyday.... besides, would ya rather be following the heat??????

Let's give the Panthers credit for winning a one goal game on the road against a division rival.

Nicely said, i cant say well played tonight, but i can say hard fought.. there was some sticking and checking going on. funny thing though, the panthers still dont get any respect. did you see when booth got slammed to the ice....after the whistle in the third period infront of the lightning net? If that was salei or mezie, tampa would have had another power play. well, lets see if the kids can remember tuesday against the maple leafs what they did these last 2 games to continue the wins..

Booth is the real deal; this guy should get a big contract. He's balls to the wall.

How about the fact that Weiss is winning face-offs at an unbelievable rate in the past 2 games. Weiss is playing great hockey right now - something not always measured by goal scoring - though he did net a nice one against the Canucks.

The Panthers have proven they can play well and they can win. The problem is that they need to do it consistently. I do see their efforts starting to pay off and maybe the consisietcny in good play has begun.

The race is too close for comfort in our division. We need consistency in playing well game after game after game and at least they have started.

Another problem we have is the referees' calls. I think I am being totally objective when I say that the refs make more borderline calls gaints the Panthers than any other team. I don't know why but I firmly believe it because I see it in just about every game

Still, I am more than willing to give Tomas Vokoun and other Panthers a vote of confidence for a job well done these last two nights.

Go CATS!

What a relief for Zednick to finally get a goal. The Panthers have been needing that for a while now. These four points are huge.

3 points out of the division lead again. Back in it?

Anyways, blaming Steven Weiss is pretty dumb...isn't it? The guy is winning all faceoffs, and his line is the best line out there with Booth and Horton.

PS-Hey Berandino...did you see Vokoun lead his team to 2 points AGAIN? Luongo was good...but before you write another article, realize the facts. GOALTENDING IS NOT THE PROBLEM.

Great game against the Canucks. Mediocre game against the Lightning. The Panthers got out worked, and out played throughout the second and third. If it wasnt for the PPG by Olli, they'd be singing a different tune right now. I'll take these 4 points and build on the momentum since they are going on a 5 game road trip. The Panthers seem to do well on the road, so lets hope for 8 out of a possible 10 points in that span. Weiss had done alot of good things for the cats, but does need to pick up on the scoring to earn his paycheck. It seems that almost every time he shoots, it goes high or wide. Time to shoot low and go for rebounds. All of them need to shoot low and go for rebounds. You cant always shoot high. Look at Prospal's goal last night. it wasnt a hard shot, it was a rather weak shot, down low, left there between Vokoun's legs, and Prospal charged the net, and got the goal. The Panthers need to take notes on that. Baron, I know you are a Fan, but ease up. You are singing the same tune you ahve been for the past 3 - 4 years. Enjoy the game, and the Panthers are not out of the playoff hunt yet.

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Scorpio

You need to take time out to spend with your partner today as he/she probably has something they need to share with you. If you don't take the time now, while empathetic Neptune is stimulated by the caring Moon, you'll find that tomorrow won't go very smoothly. Take this opportunity to work things out, even if it's the last thing you want to do today. A little sacrifice is called for.
