The Rangers have been the biggest laugh in the NHL for the past number of years. No matter what the Rags fans say, anyone that knows anything about hockey has been having a great laugh about the overpaid players that under preform year after year. No team unity, too many premadonna's.

pick any one of the last 2 years. The rangers have more playoff wins then the isles do in the last 18.

So if the rangers=joke

what the hell does that make the isles? 18 years!!!

The Rangers signed Scott Gomez to a contract that was so ridiculously inflated I cannot even believe that you are saying its warrented. The guy had 13 goals in his last season with the devils. Let me repeat that......13 goals...!!!!! He got 10 million in his first year playing for the Rangers. Thats the highest paid player in the league. Are you really gonna say he deserved that?? While Drury isnt as bad as the Gomez conny........he still is a second line center making first line money.
The guy just had 1 goal and 2 assists in game 1 tonight. Gomez is not the highest paid player in the league this year. Maybe you should check your facts.

Listen, I have no problem saying that I hate how the Rangers have thrown money at various free agents. Still, I do understand why they went after Gomez and Drury, two US born players, with Stanley Cups and Calder trophies.

Thank you for that stat update from last night, but for the future I also watch the games....

I never said anything about Gomez being the highest paid player this year. What I said was that the Rangers went from rebuilding to back to their old ways and throwing their money around......i.e giving Gomez a contract like that after him having a 13 goal season with the devils the year prior.

All this coming from someone who either works, lives, or uses a computer based out of Bohemia.

I did however laugh at the "go slap your ugly fat wife" comment. Much to your chagrin, im not that guy. For the record I dont live in Nassau, just grew up there.

The islanders have a lease on that property until 2012 I believe, with no out clause (or so i've read). I didnt realize KC was such a hockey hotbed. After all the devils started off there, and ended up in jersey.....
