Injuries are part of the game, however it is not the main cause for this train wreck of a season,an idiot of a coach, players that don't belong in the league, a dumbazz of a gm, an owner who is more interested in real estate, and his chinese kids playing in mandarin china, and kool aid drinking, rose colored glasses wearing rejects called "fans" willing to shell out money in these tough economic times to watch these misfits, hope all that do lose their shirts, they are ripe for the pickings anyway!

Guerin's captaincy is a sham. Get rid of this guy already. He's half retired anyway.

When Ted Nolan coaches the Rangers this will be the final straw that breaks my back- I've half given up on this team already but when the best coach this franchise has had since Al Arbour goes to the Rangers....that's a crusher-

You honestly think the islanders are better off with Scott Gordon over Ted Nolan ? You honestly think that many of the teams current problems aren't a direct result of bringing in a new coach ? Nolan was the only stable component of the entire franchise and the Knucklehead Snow gets rid of him-
When does it end ?

I know I've said it so many times I sound like a broken record (for those of you not old enough to remember... records were made of vinyl and sometimes they would get scratched and repeat a section over and over) but about 98% of this team's problems are directly attributable to Mike Milbury's unparalleled incompetence. The guy dismantled the team and left it in an impossible place to build from. You can blame Snow and Gordon as much as you want but it's not their fault. You can blame Wang some but only because he had no idea what he was doing and he made the mistake of trusting Milbury... who would probably be an excellent used car salesmen but as a coach or GM he is/was horrible.

This team seems to have hit bottom... and it needed to. They can finally get past *most* of Milbury's damage and begin building something. If you can't see that then you're really not paying attention.

This team is still paying thep rice for having Mike Milbury as the GM. Say what you want about the owner, the players, the arena, Mike Milbury drove this club into and through the ground. Hey, maybe all the way through to China and that is why we have a team over there now

Leeky Dipleteo may have had potential to be a top player
But he's never shown it as an Islander
He's killing this team we cant wait for him to maybe get better.
or build around him I don't think he has it anymore and I am not sure if he ever had it.
There were times when he looked good but then he would try to show off and blow it
Just like he did at the all star game last year
can you say buyout ?
I can !

John-I feel your pain.
Im not saying anything against Nolan-he was a good coach.
But if Snow is our GM and him and Nolan werent seeing eye-to-eye...time to go.
As others said-Scott Gordon nor Snow caused this mess.
Although this is a rough season for us Isles fans-it will pay off in the long run.
As far as Scott Gordon-give this guy a chance-he knows what he is doing. He was at a major disadvantage coming into this season. Im willing to say this team will take significant strides this offseason. Beginning next season the Isles will be back.
I just hope DP can get his act together.
