with that said. The Isles probably need the splashier name, and a goal scoring forward, more than a defenseman.

Is it just me, or does Danis look eerily like DP's twin brother?

hmmmmm, idk about that.....haven't seen DP enough this year to make that comparison.

The silver lining in it all is that we didn't waste a #1 pick on Yann Danis

We gonna meet at the Rinx and lace 'em up??? Lunch hockey runs daily if you're able to sneak out of the court room

Haha- I remember turning to an islanders game a few weeks back and I saw Danis putting his helmet on, and thought it was DP.

In the midst of the debating yesterday......I realized that the players don't care half as much as we do about this rivalry, I think they've even said how it means more to the fans then them......that made me laugh

No more wasting my time arguing about the Isles/Rags, IT AIN'T LIKE I PLAY FOR EM!!! lol

I keep reading "Gordon needs to be complimented for the effort of the team the last two weeks" Great effort indeed, Multiple 5 game losing streaks, a home losing streak, a long away losing streak. I compliment gordon with helping the team with consistent losing streaks. I was at that game where mcd got hurt. It sounded like the air was taken out of the building. Oh and in sitting in 188x, I could see the looks on the trainers faces. They were saying oh great now what. the doctors didnt have a look of confidence either. I hope tavy likes Kansas City.

its all in good fun. I would be pissed off if the Islanders ceased to exist. Hockey wouldnt be as much fun. Its something to waste time at work with when our teams arent winning cups

and the players really dont care anymore. In the 70s and 80s you could tell the players cared about the rivalry, and cared more in general about representing their team rather than themselves. The sport has lost that. Its the same in all sports but in hockey you notice it more based on the nature of the sport itself. Its sad.
