You can blame the lack of hard skating if you want. Watching people fly by you on the ice and Isles players do nothing more than a feeble bending over and waviing a stick at a player is not gonna make it, not even by NHL Lite standards!! A few timely Denis Potvin or Bam Bam Longevin hip checks at a Malkin or Crosby streaking down center ice will stop that nonsense..Can anyone on this team even hit someone on the boards!!! Watch the tapes!! Meyer, Gervais, gorw a pair will ya.

Want to see some great hits on Crosby?? Pull out your video of the Stanley Cup finals against Detroit!!! See what happens when the Wings started to throw big bodies on the 2 boy wonders. They crumbled and were completely out classed, didn't know how to respond. Crosby tried once to muck it up but picked the wrong Red Wing and ended up on his ass.

The Isles just look like they're running out of gas by the time they hit the 3rd period...every game.
They played well in the first, showed they could play physical in the second, and never showed up for the third.
Does their conditioning suck or are the leaning too heavy on the old guys?
