I've been hearing rumors that the Islanders are for sale? What say you, Logan?

I can't believe he started Joey Mac. Danis was hot (sorta) and should have started last night. bad move by gordon.

I do not think which goalie plays is that important in Gordons' system as the D-mans positioning & play in the defensive zone. Hey, look at NJ, they are one of the hottest NHL teams WITHOUT Martin Broduer in the nets. Good 'D' almost always makes it easier for the goalie.

I agree but this team depends on their goalies performance and ability to keep them in tight games. The Isles are not a high scoring team and allow a ton of shots on goal. Danis has kept them in games and doesn't tend to breakdown in the third period.

The right to start for the worst team in the NHL is on the line. If Yann Danis goes down whose the new goalie? Somebody from a recreational league.

People please, look at the wins the team has had. Joey or the goaltender has been the star of the game on how many occasions??? most of them. Danis had a good few games when the team played well. Look at his numbers during the first of the season whenthe team was not playing well. You should be thankful that MacD was there to even keep those games close and help the team keep their heads high. What a fickle gruop of fans.
