Just after the All-Star break, Islanders goaltender Yann Danis enjoyed a stretch of four games in which he carried a shutout into the third period each time only to lose his shutout bid.

I like Dean McAmmond's debut. Skated hard, fast, was defensively accountable and won faceoffs.

Total opposite of Comrie. Yay!
