Resident turns sorrow into passion and business

A year ago, instead of grimacing when a doctor told him he had to use a cane because of a permanent disability to his left leg, Jerry Pokras got inspired to handcraft something useful.

I'm Judy, Jerry and Anne's daughter, and I'm the one who created the blog at http://canemaker.blogspot.com to display the canes. I want to point out that it takes my father two-to-three days to carve each cane. I think they're awesome!
