My brother just sent me a letter in the mail and used a Fast Lake Navigation with an Inverted Center as part of the postage. Yikes! I gather that this is a valuable stamp (less valuable now that it's been used). Any idea how much it's worth? It looks to be in quite good condition.

If this is a genuine stamp, yes it is very valuable. In fact if you have it on cover,it is probably far more valuable than an unused one. JUst remember that it is common for people to cut out the center portion and stick it back inverted. You should get it authenticated by PSE, APS or PF.

Sorry - issued a few years ago
a Commemorative of the Pan Am show in 1901 - issued 2001
Worth - maybe a buck - probably less

The stamp you have should have a date in the very bottom left hand corner. If so the green and black 1c stamp is a reprint from a souvenier sheet printed in 2001 by the u.s.p.s. The value is less than $1.00
