USFWS research grants awarded:

h/t to batcon.org .

This should be on the Caving in Carlsbad blog, but I guess they have more important cave-related stuff to talk about, like Carlsbad road improvements. sigh.

Also, NCKRI's looking at opening in its new digs by the river around Thanksgiving, according to George Veni. I'd think that might bear mention, Jay?

Really, I'd much rather hear about that, than about cap & trade, on a caving blog.

Just sayin'.

Oh, and one more thing, Jay...what's a "primer caving capitol?"

You've had that blog up over a year now, and can't get it together to correct misspellings in your blog description?

Does anybody read that thing besides me?

You talking to me?

George seems to be doing a very good job...the mere fact that the thing has gotten built at all in this economic climate is impressive.

Do you feel this way about all research? Or do you just have a problem with speleologists?

Oh, I just love the judging here. I write a comment suggesting that someone running a blog on caving should make a point of posting news about caving, and I get judged as clueless.

This is about as much fun as I've ever had out of bed.
