What about the impact of the implementation of this new program on existing programs? Was there some sort of enrollment or interest survey used to determine the need for this new class? I'm not against the Career Center expanding their offerings, but are current programs evaluated for any consistency and legitimacy before new classes are added?
Also, I would love someone to explain to me what model trains have to do with students who are "losing interest in school and have high absentee and truancy rates" Yea, that seems like the sort of student the CDC needs more of.... Haven't they been trying to RAISE standards at that school?
Oh well, I guess just like MAU - so much for setting themselves apart. Lets lower the standards so it looks like the schools have a better graduation and retention rates! I don't plan on voting 'yes' for the CDC budget ever again.
