My girlfriend was also adopted.
She knows her birth mother but don't know who her father is. She was born in Davison county North Carolina. She has wanting to know who her father is far some time now.
Its strange that this girl is from the same area as my girlfriend is from.
Her record are blocked by her adopted parents request. Not far either. I feel once your eighteen if you want to know who your real parents are the information should be giving to that person.
I hope this girl finds her family.

She might want to try DNA testing. More and more are doing 23andme, and FTDNA tests to find people.
