I am a member of Find-a-Grave. And I live in Madison County, Alabama. It has been very rewarding. You help people who otherwise can't make it to a cemetary. I have over 60 memorial pages done for my family and ancestors. There have been other members of Find-a-Grave who have taken photos for me in other states. I remember last year I found out where one of my greatgreatgrandmothers was buried in Texas. This nice person went to the cemetary and found her tombstone and took pictures of it ,although the wording was hard to read but she could make out the name and it was indeed my greatgreatgrandmother, and several more of the family for me.

All of us researching our roots love to help one another. It is a testament to the adage "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

I want to report a member of Find-a-Grave for being verbally abusive to me on my Find-a-Grave page. She called me scum among other things, just because I asked her why would she leave several icons of alcoholic drinks on Gail Russell's memorial page when the actress died at 36 as a result of alcoholism. This member is strwbryblondnc. I would hope the admin. of Find-a-Grave would at least admonish this person.
Thanks.
