"If May 21 passes with no return, he said, it could be embarrassing for the campaign organizers and a disappointment for those who take such things seriously. "It's really a bad idea.""
IF? Not like this is the first time a group has claimed to know the date - their batting average is .000 and will remain so on May 21. Just hoping it doesn't lead to a mass suicide or something like some of the lunatic leaders have promoted in the past. Idiots.

The Bible says "no one knows, except the father". The money used to put up billboards could have been better used to feed poor people.

Actually it would have better spent feeding hungry people.

The world would not be complete without "useful idiots" like this example. "In the blink of an eye" would not pass for a billboard sign. As Jesus said, "these do err greatly not knowing the scriptures."

Are you not quoting Judas Iscariot?
John 12:4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's [son], which should betray him,

John 12:5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

John 12:6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
Matthew 26:9 For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.

Mark 14:4 And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

Mark 14:5 For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

These people are the American Taliban. Ignorant religious people from rural america trying to force their religious views on the country. IF they could they would charge people with blasphemy and hang and stone people to death, just like the Taliban.

Conservative Christians = American Taliban.

Idiot! Quote until your fingers bleed, I was merely pointing out the flaw in the point about feeding the poor. I have no use for thumpers, even on a slow Saturday afternoon.

I don't think so....."Keep your lamps full of oil, and the wicks trimmed, for you know not when the bridegroom returneth!" Also, it is not in the tabaloids near the Kroeger cash out line...

You will all be sorry because when Jesus comes I will get great satisfaction watching all the non-believers get mutilated and tortured in hell while I bask in eternal heavenly bliss.

I don't think you get how it works and probably won't be among the baskers.

To me, religious is about REVENGE! Sure, my boss is rich and makes me work on weekends for free, but I will get eternal bliss and he will burn in hell because he doesn't go to church - I know that for a fact! And all those people who don't listen to my warnings? Smoking hulks on a stick when the devil gets through with them and I'll be laughing all the way to the pearly gates!

If that's how you think it works you could be disappointed.
