These days, it's an industry that generates one point three trillion pounds worth of economic activity, a million miles from where commercial aviation began Allentown mayor, Ed Pawlowski, has made an offer to the Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority to purchase an eight acre parcel of land near the Queen City Airport .
